Uncanny Tales. Vol. 2, no. 20 (December 1942)

Uncanny Tales went traditional with the cover for its December 1942 issue, which features the unholy trinity of horror illustrations: a spider, a skull and a black cat. This issue featured Donald A. Wollheim's essay "Whither Canadian Fantasy," which addressed not only the emergence of Canadian fantasy writing, but also the national identity.
